Police Blotter: Teens Steal Liquor From Grocery Store

Bolingbrook police reports, Sept. 5-6.

Monday, Sept. 6

1. Stolen purse

A purse was taken from a car parked on the 500 block of West Boughton Road between 6 p.m. and 6:25 p.m. The doors and windows were unlocked.

2. Retail theft

Police responded to the Meijer at 225 N. Weber Rd. for the report of a retail theft. Store security told police they noticed several subjects take bottles of alcohol and attempt to leave the store at 9:05 p.m. They were approached by store security but fled upon contact. Adler Moreira, 18, of the 200 block of Seabury Road, Edgar Torrijos-Perez, 18, of the 600 block of Preston Drive, Joseph Moreno, 18, of the 300 block of Huntington Way, and Juan Buendal, 20, of the 600 block of Preston Drive, were all charged with retail theft.

Sunday, Sept. 5

3. Keys taken from garage

A set of keys were taken from a garage on the 700 block of Stonebridge Drive between 10 p.m. and 11 p.m.

4. DUI

Wesley Anderson, 53, of the 100 block of Newgate Drive in Naperville, was charged with DUI at the intersection of Bolingbrook Drive and Royce Road at 10:53 p.m.

5. Stolen wallet

A wallet was taken from an unlocked car’s glove box on the 500 block of Bluebird Lane between 9:30 p.m. and 9:50 p.m.

6. Warrant

Cornelius Brown, 38, of the 400 block of Larkspur Drive, was charged with an in-state warrant on the 100 block of Lily Cache Lane at 1:15 p.m.
