Police: Bolingbrook Man Held Up at Gun Point During Drug Deal
Two men arrested after alleged drug deal went awry.
An 18-year-old man was held up at gun point during an alleged drug deal on Nov. 19, police say.
According to police reports, officers resopnded to the 100 block of Garden Drive for a possible home invasion. After further investigation, it was learned that two subjects, one of them identified as Esaias Brown, 27, of the 400 block of Savannah Lane, entered the home to meet with Scott Hujar, 18, the alleged victim.
Bolingbrook Lieutenant Mike Rompa said Hujar invited the two men in to purchase marijuana. Brown and the other offender handed Hujar a popcorn can while Hujar handed them $300. At that point, the offenders pulled out a gun and took the money and demanded the marijuana plant, which was being grown in the lower level of the home.

The offenders, Rompa said, fled with the can, money and plant.
Hujar was taken into custody for possession of cannabis after police later found four more grams of marijuana and an additional plant at Hujar's home. He was processed and released, Rompa said.

Brown was later arrested by and booked into the county jail on armed robbery.
