Students in all 19 schools and the district's and Phoenix Experience will be in school on Feb. 7, which was originally designated as a day off for students. Because the primary election date in Illinois has been changed back to the month of March, The district has was forced to make the student attendance day adjustment, the district said in a release. Now, students will now have the day off on Tuesday, March 20. That day will also serve as a teacher institute day, replacing the originally scheduled Feb. 7 institute day. The district is asking parents to make note of the change.
