Bolingbrook Trustee Mike Lawler agrees with the village’s ban.

“I am not a fan of the program as defined by the legislature,” he said. “I think the casinos offer the appropriate venue for them.”

As of January 31, more than 70 communities and four counties have opted out of video gaming.
