Shots Fired In 7-Eleven Parking Lot: Bolingbrook Police
An officer heard gunshots and a witness reported people fighting in the Schmidt Road parking lot.
BOLINGBROOK, IL — An officer driving in the 300 block of Schmidt Road heard gunshots and arrived to find a shell casing in the 7-Eleven parking lot just before 8 p.m. Friday, Bolingbrook police said.
A witness also called 911 saying there were people yelling and an argument between two groups in the convenience store parking lot.
Bolingbrook police said the officer heard two gunshots. The groups of people left the area before police arrived, but officers were able to track them down immediately, according to a news release.

There were no reports of injuries and the incident is under investigation.
