Police Say Suspicious Man Tried To Lure Young Girls in Bolingbrook
Bolingbrook police are asking residents to be on the lookout for a man who reportedly tried to lure two young girls into his vehicle Monday.

Police said a white man around age 50 was driving in his car when he tried to get the attention of two juvenile girls walking on the sidewalk at about 3 p.m. near Blackberry and Orchard drives. After the man repeatedly asked them to get into the vehicle with him, police said the girls fled to a nearby home where they contacted an adult, who returned them to their home.
The man was described as having a medium to large build with blue eyes, a long white beard, mustache and short hair. His car is a four-door mid-size sedan with a dented front passenger side fender and silver rims or hubcaps.

Parents in were sent an alert about the situation, encouraging them to discuss stranger danger and safety measures with their children to keep them alert when they are without an adult.
