SUV Strikes Pedestrian, Leaves Scene In Bolingbrook: Police

BOLINGBROOK, IL — A black SUV struck a pedestrian and left the scene on Monday in Bolingbrook, police told Patch.

Police responded to the parking lot of Pheasant Hill Plaza, off of Bolingbrook Drive, at 11:58 a.m. Monday for the report of a vehicle that struck a pedestrian.

Police said the black SUV with Illinois registration struck the pedestrian in the parking lot, and left the scene. A man was injured, and taken to an area hospital for treatment.

The circumstances surrounding the incident are under investigation, police said.
