The Friday Food Critic: Buona Beef

When it comes to restaurants,  has it covered.

We have some great local places that many would consider community gems; we have some restaurants that aren't exactly mom-and-pop but are unique to the area; and we certainly—for better or for worse—have plenty of chains lining our main streets.

But what we don't have is a consistent food critic to tell us what's good and what's not. 

That's where you come in.

We're not egotistical enough to tell you what restaurants you do and don't like. It's your community. You eat the food. You tell us if it passes the mark.

That's why we run , where each week, we put a different restaurant on the chopping block. You tell us how you feel about it, what dishes are good, who has the best drink specials and so forth.

This week we ask your opinion on , Bolingbrook's newest restaurant that specializes in Italian beef.

 is great for a quick lunch or catering for any size party. Located at the intersection of Weber Road and Lily Cache Lane, Buona Beef offers goers a wide-variety of sandwiches, burgers and hot dogs, salads and soups, and even pizza.

Was one of the lucky few who were invited to have dinner there on Tuesday night and they did not disappoint. Great food & service, couldn't have asked for more. Thinking about going back today for another beef sandwich.
