Tickets On Sale for Lady Raiders’ McDonald’s Shootout Game

Tickets are now available for the Jan. 16 McDonald’s Shootout contest between and Niles West.

The game will feature two of the state’s top girls basketball players in Lady Raider Morgan Tuck and Niles’ Jewel Lloyd.

Tickets, at $5 for students and $7 for adults, may be purchased through the BHS athletic office. The ticket is good for seven games that day starting with a 10 a.m. matchup between Streamwood and Marian Catholic and ending with the 7 p.m. BHS-Niles West game.

Other “Shootout” games that day include Waubonsie Valley and Benet at 5:30, Montini and Young at 4, Trinity and Marist at 2:30, Providence and Plainfield North at 1 and Fenwick and St. Joseph, MO At 11:30 a.m.

All games are played at Willowbrook High School, 1250 S. Ardmore in Villa Park. The school is located just north of Roosevelt Road several miles east of I-355.

Last season, the Lady Raiders defeated in the event's showcase game. The win ended Montini's 23-game winning streak.
