Unclaimed $250K Lottery Ticket Sold in Bolingbrook

Christmas may be coming a bit later than usual for one lucky consumer.

According to the Illinois Lottery, the Bolingbrook  gas station, located at 735 E. Boughton Rd., sold a winning $250,000 Mega Millions lottery ticket on Jan. 4 of this year. That ticket remains unclaimed and is floating out there somewhere.

Winners have a year from the date of ticket purchase to claim their prizes. That puts whoever bought the winning ticket on the clock before it's too late.

The $250,000 prize is one of the larger payouts still unclaimed from Illinois Lottery tickets. Seven $250,000 payouts from Mega Millions tickets still remain unclaimed. Four Little Lotto tickets worth more than that also remain missing in action.
