Box Truck Vandalized In Criminal Damage Case: Buffalo Grove Police Blotter

BUFFALO GROVE, IL — The following information comes from the Buffalo Grove Police Department (except when noted) and court records as a record of incidents reported to police and those arrested on criminal charges, which represent accusations by the state that are often dropped or reduced.

ARRESTS

DRIVING WITH A SUSPENDED LICENSE

• Francisco Guerrero Celso, 40, of the 150 block of S. Lincoln Avenue, Mundelein, is accused of driving with a suspended license, operating a motor vehicle when registration is suspended, and was arrested at 11:29 a.m. Dec. 3, at Weiland Road and Marvins Way. A court date of Dec. 19 was assigned.
• Silvia Moreno, 46, of the 1400 block of Winslowe Drive, Palatine, is accused of driving with a suspended license, failure to notify secretary of state of name/address change for driver's license, failure to dim lights, and was arrested at 5:30 a.m. Dec. 4, in the 400 block of W. Dundee Road. A court date of Dec. 19 was assigned.
• Charles C. Hansen, 32, of the 400 block of W. Mitchell Court, Arlington Heights, is accused of driving on a suspended license, speeding, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, and was arrested at 10:08 a.m. Dec. 6, at Dundee and Weidner roads. A court date of Jan. 28, 2026 was assigned.

INCIDENTS

CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO PROPERTY

A box truck was reported vandalized at 7:22 a.m. Dec. 8, in the 1300 block of N. Barclay Boulevard. The steering column was also damaged, according to police.

RETAIL THEFT

A store in the 700 block of E. Lake Cook Road reported at 5:07 a.m. Dec. 10, that someone had stolen a can of Red Bull.
