Buffalo Grove Fire And Police Seeking Qualified Candidates For Board Vacancy
The vacancy is a result of the recent retirement announcement by Chairman Bruce Kahn.

From Buffalo Grove Police and Fire Commission: The Village of Buffalo is currently seeking qualified applicants for an opening on the Fire and Police Commission Board. The vacancy is a result of the recent retirement announcement by Chairman Bruce Kahn.
The commission is primarily responsible for overseeing the testing and hiring of police officers
and firefighter/paramedics, in addition to the testing and promotion of police sergeants and fire
lieutenants.
Fire and Police Commission Board meetings are held on the first Monday of every month at 6:00
p.m. at the Buffalo Grove Village Hall, 50 Raupp Blvd., Buffalo Grove.

The Village has been seeking candidates and the position will remain open until filled by the
Village President with the consent of the Trustees. Individuals who are interested in applying are
asked to visit https://goo.gl/MvU4Tr to submit an online application. When asked to ‘Rate your
top three (3) choices for Commissions or Boards’, select Board of Fire and Police Commission.
