Buffalo Grove Police Hosting Bowling Fundraiser For Special Olympics Illinois
The bowling night fundraiser is part of the department's annual Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics effort
BUFFALO GROVE, IL — As part of its continued effort to support Special Olympics Illinois, the Buffalo Grove Police Department is hosting a night of bowling fun Friday at Bowlero, 350 McHenry Road.
According to organizers, registration for the event is $40 per person and includes lane and shoe rental, pizza and unlimited soft drinks during the event and entry into raffles and giveaways. Check-in begins at 6:30 p.m.
The fundraiser is part of the department's annual Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics efforts, a statewide public awareness and fundraising campaign for Special Olympics Illinois. In 2024, BGPD helped raise over $25,000 to support local athletes through this initiative.

"The men and women of the Buffalo Grove Police Department are proud to be longtime supporters of our local Special Olympics athletes," Buffalo Grove Police Chief Brian Budds said.
