No injuries were reported after the car stopped moving on the tracks near Prairie View Metra station Wednesday morning.

BUFFALO GROVE, IL — A vehicle stuck on the railroad tracks near the Prairie View Metra station caused half-hour delays Wednesday morning, Metra officials said.
No injuries were reported after the car stopped moving on the tracks between Buffalo Grove and Vernon Hills. Police said they are investigating the incident.
While the car was cleared by 9:05 a.m., commuters can expect "extensive delays" along the North Central Service line, a Metra spokeswoman said, especially for inbound trains headed towards Chicago's Union Station.
