Illinois Wesleyan Announces Fall 2024 Dean's List
Illinois Wesleyan University's Dean's List for the fall semester of the 2024-25 academic year consisted of 827 students from 31 states and 28 countries. To qualify for the Dean's List, students must earn a GPA of 3.50 or better during the semester, based on 4.0 for straight As. Students from Buffalo Grove include:

Carthage College Students Venture Across Globe For J-Term Study Tour
During Carthage College's 2025 J-Term, Janice Quainoo, from Buffalo Grove, traveled as part of the course Biology and Geography of Nicaragua. J-Term, or January Term, is a special month-long period of study in which Carthage students explore subjects outside their majors or minors, discover new interests, and test their creativity through classes held around the world. Nearly 200 Carthage students participated in one of 11 study tours offered in January.

Julia Neimark Named To The College Of Charleston President's List
Julia Neimark, of Buffalo Grove, was named to the College of Charleston Fall 2024 President's List. Neimark is majoring in Communication. To qualify for the President's List (Highly Distinguished), students must earn a GPA of 3.800 or higher and complete a minimum of 12 semester hours.

More than 800 students graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater at winter commencement, held Dec. 14, 2024, at Kachel Fieldhouse in the Williams Center. The following students from your coverage area earned degrees from the UW-Whitewater at winter commencement:

Dalya Frank Named To Muhlenberg College Dean's List
A graduate of Rochelle Zell Jewish High School, Dalya Frank, of Buffalo Grove, has been named to the fall 2024 Dean's List while studying at Muhlenberg College. To be eligible for the Dean's List, Muhlenberg College students must earn a GPA of 3.5 or better while taking three or more course units during a semester.
