Downed Wires Caused Heavy Delays In Buffalo Grove

The wires on Aptakisic Road went down before 6 p.m. Tuesday and were cleared by 6:15.

BUFFALO GROVE, IL — Commuters experienced heavy traffic delays during the evening commute Tuesday evening. The downed wires were on Aptakisic Road, eastbound east of Weiland Road, according to Lake County PASSAGE. The warning was posted at 5:53 p.m.

By 6:15 p.m., the wires were cleared and normal traffic patterns resumed.
