Drunken Wisconsin Driver Found With Drugs: Buffalo Grove Police Blotter

BUFFALO GROVE, IL — The following information comes from the Buffalo Grove Police Department (except when noted) and court records as a record of incidents reported to police and those arrested on criminal charges, which represent accusations by the state that are often dropped or reduced.
Updated information may be available from the Lake County Clerk of the Circuit Court. Everyone arrested is presumed to be innocent unless found guilty in court beyond a reasonable doubt.

- Shawntrell T. Moore, 40, of the 700 block of E. Independence Drive, Palatine, is accused of driving under the influence, speeding, and was arrested at 1:26 a.m. Nov. 16, at Dundee and Weidner roads. A court date of Dec. 10 was assigned.
- Leah Thomas, 56, of the 400 block of W. Happfield Drive, Arlington Heights, is accused of DUI, failure to yield turning left, and was arrested at 6:56 p.m. Nov. 16, at Arlington Heights Road and Happfield Drive. A court date of Dec. 1 was assigned.
- Christobal J. Villarreal, 21, of Kenosha, Wisconsin, is accused of aggravated DUI, unlawful possession of a controlled substance, disobeying a traffic control device, improper lane usage, failure to signal when required, and was arrested at 11:26 p.m. Nov. 27, in the 100 block of W. Lake Cook Road. A court date of Dec. 3 was assigned.
DRIVING ON A SUSPENDED LICENSE
Lakeesha M. Donley, 30, of the 1700 block of Golf Road, Waukegan, is accused of driving on a suspended license, operating a motor vehicle when registration is suspended, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, and was arrested at 6:14 p.m. Nov. 23, at Deerfield and Bush parkways. A court date of Dec. 19 was assigned.

FLEEING/ATTEMPTING TO ELUDE A PEACE OFFICER
Taalaibek Arstanov, 40, of Seattle, Washington, is accused of fleeing/attempting to elude a peace officer, leaving the scene of an accident, unsafe backing of roadway, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, and was arrested at 12:59 p.m. Nov. 30, at Dundee Road and Ellen Drive. A court date of Dec. 17 was assigned.

INCIDENTS
CRIMINAL DAMAGE/TRESPASS TO PROPERTY
A neighbor of a property in the 200 block of St. Mary's Parkway, reported at 4:02 p.m. Nov. 13, seeing a broken window on the north side of the property. Police arrived and found a side door open. The residence was cleared and nothing else was found. The property owner was contacted to have the window fixed.
THEFT
- It was reported at 3:36 a.m. Nov. 20, that three packages were stolen from the vestibule area at a property in the 600 block of Grove Drive.
- It was reported at 5:31 p.m. Nov. 26, that two packages were stolen from the vestibule area of a complex in the 100 block of S. Buffalo Grove Road.
- It was reported at midnight Nov. 30, a package had been stolen from the common area of a building in the 0-10 block of Oak Creek Drive.
RETAIL THEFT
Employees at Woodman's, 1550 E. Deerfield Parkway, reported at 2:12 p.m. Nov. 21, a male had stolen $66.62 worth of merchandise.
THEFT OF MOTOR VEHICLE PARTS
A catalytic converter was reported removed from a Hyundai at 8:30 a.m. Nov. 29, in the 1100 block of Johnson Drive.
