Election 2023: Village Races Take Shape In Buffalo Grove
The consolidated municipal elections are set for April 4 with races for village and school boards, among others, on the ballot.

BUFFALO GROVE, IL — With Election Day less than 10 weeks away, voters are beginning to figure out who they might vote for. The consolidated municipal elections are set for April 4, with early voting getting underway in Lake County March 20.
For the Buffalo Grove Village Board, current President Beverly Sussman is not running for reelection when her term expires in April. Village Trustee Eric Smith is seeking that position and is running unopposed for the spot.
In addition, the four-year seats of trustees Gregory S. Pike and David Weidenfeld also conclude in April, with both seeking reelection. Frank Cesario has also thrown his hat into the uncontested race with Smith's spot now becoming open, according to Village Clerk Janet M. Sirabian.
