BUFFALO GROVE, IL — A fatal crash shut down Arlington Heights Road Wednesday night between Dundee Road and University to the south. Buffalo Grove police and the Village sent out a traffic alert regarding the crash at around 6:12 p.m. Police were asking motorists to use alternate routes and traffic delays are expected in the area. The Village said Arlington Heights Road had reopened as of 9:30 p.m.
