'Malfunctioning' Signal Caused Buffalo Grove Highway Delays: Report
The Thursday afternoon incident was reported on the highway at IL 53 and IL 83.
BUFFALO GROVE, IL — Motorists looking to travel on Illinois 83 at Illinois 53 in Buffalo Grove needed to look for an alternate route Thursday afternoon. Lake County Passage reported a "temporarily malfunctioning" signal was causing heavy delays.
The Intelligent Transportation System company sent out the alert at around 2:48 p.m.
