Stolen Foster Puppy Returned To Wheeling Animal Shelter

WHEELING, IL — A puppy that had been stolen from his foster family's backyard last week in Antioch has been returned to Wheeling's Heartland Animal Shelter. Buzz, a 3 1/2-month-old black lab/shepherd puppy, was taken from the family's backyard late Wednesday near West Highland Avenue and Woodland Avenue in Antioch.

In a weekend social media post, HAS said the dog had been returned.

Buzz had last been seen in the subdivision behind Bootleggers Bar and Grill, off Grasslake Road, being put in a grey Jeep Wrangler Sahara.
