Burr Ridge To Get New Restaurant And Bar

The owners of another local restaurant are bringing the establishment to town.

BURR RIDGE, IL – The Bridewell Tavern is expected to open in Burr Ridge in the first quarter of this year in the spot where a restaurant closed a year ago.

On Monday, the Village Board plans to vote on approving a liquor license for the restaurant and bar.

Bridewell is taking the place of Yolk breakfast restaurant, which shut its doors after 2½ years at 525 Village Center Drive.

Bridewell has the same owners as Bar Poca Madre, which is also at the Village Center shopping center.

Bar Poca Madre, a Mexican restaurant, opened in April 2024.

The owners also operate Nabuki, a sushi restaurant, and Pronto Italian Sandwiches, both in Hinsdale, according to Bridewell's website.

The website says Bridewell will offer "an elevated spin on traditional bar food and fine cocktails, an assortment of healthy seed oil-free dishes, while also providing sophisticated lunch and dinner options."
