Wanted Man Spat On, Bit & Kicked Cops: Police

He fainted when he got to the jail and was taken to the hospital, police said.

JOLIET, IL — A wanted man spat in the face of a couple cops, kicked another’s head and bit a third one’s hand, police said.

The fugitive, 35-year-old Randy Johnson, was walking near the corner of Center and Jefferson streets shortly after 10:30 p.m. Sunday when the cops spotted him and went to arrest him, police said.

While they were taking Johnson into custody, he spat in the face of a sergeant and an officer, police said, and when another officer was placing him in the back of a squad car, kicked him in the head. Johnson also reportedly tried to kick out the car’s windows.
