12-Year-Old Chicago Girl Abducted By Biological Mother: Police
Christine Finch was scheduled to go to a medical appointment when police say she willingly got into her mother's car and the woman sped off.

CHICAGO — A 12-year-old has girl has been abducted by her biological mother after the girl got into a car to go to a medical appointment on Monday night, Chicago Police said.
Police said that the girl, Christine Finch, was last seen in Chicago’s Garfield Park neighborhood and had communicated with her biological mother by cell phone, police said. After picking the girl up for the appointment, the mother suddenly drove off with the girl, who had been in the custody of her legal guardian, police said.
Police are considering the matter one of custodial interference, according to a news release. Police said the girl willingly got to her biological mother’s car after communicating with her by phone.

Christine is described as standing 5 feet tall, weighing 100 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. The girl and her biological mother —who has not been identified by police — were last seen in a 2005-10 white Jeep Commander that is known to frequent Chicago’s Englewood neighborhood, police said.
