31 Percent Of IL Nursing Homes Are Not Providing CDC With Vaccine Info
"I don't know if they dropped the ball or they're just negligent," Matthews' cousin, Cheryl Bellamy-Bonner told CBS.
CHICAGO (CBS) — We first told you about Alan Matthews – a longtime resident of the Landmark Nursing Home in Richton Park – two weeks ago. His cousin came to us after finding out he was months overdue for his second COVID-19 vaccine dose. And CBS 2 Political Investigator Dana Kozlov found Matthews is likely not the only one – because no one is really keeping track.
“I don’t know if they dropped the ball or they’re just negligent,” Matthews’ cousin, Cheryl Bellamy-Bonner, said in our report on Tuesday, June 13. “I don’t know if he’s the only patient, or one of many patients that haven’t gotten their second shot.”
