Missing Baby, Mother Found

CHICAGO, IL — Chicago police say Valisia Jefferson and daughter Valisia Lee, 11 months, have been found safe.

A mother and her 11-month-old daughter have been missing for nine days, and the baby may be in need of medical attention, Chicago police said. Valisia Jefferson, 27, and her daughter, Valisia Lee, were last seen Dec. 9 near Kedvale and Augusta in West Humboldt Park.

Police said the baby's mother is known to visit the area of Cicero and Madison. Her daughter's first birthday is Dec. 21.
