Illinois 4th Of July Fireworks, Parades, Concerts: 2019 Roundup
Still don't have plans for 4th of July fireworks? Patch has you covered in the Chicago area.

It's time for local Fourth of July celebrations — time to kick back, relax, have a barbecue ... and definitely head out to see some Independence Day fireworks. Here are the best spots to see amazing pyrotechnic performances during 4th of July week 2019 in Illinois.
This year, the 4th of July falls on a Thursday, and while most events take place on the 4th, several communities are hosting fireworks on July 3 and even July 5.
As of Thursday morning, the National Weather Service was predicting a daytime high of 82 to 91 degrees Thursday for the Chicago area, but just like last year — when storms turned deadly on the 4th of July — scattered storms are a possibility. The NWS is predicting a 40 percent chance of storms and showers during the day and 30 percent chance at night.
