Indiana Attorney in Trouble For Threatening To Chop Up Wife With Ax
He drove to his wife's house with an ax but she was gone and the cops were there.

The Illinois Attorney Registration and Disciplinary Commission filed a complaint against Mishawaka, Indiana, lawyer Fronse Wayne Smith for his ax antics.
Smith was found guilty of intimidation in connection with the May 2015 incident involving his estranged wife, Linda Smith, and an ax.
Fronse Wayne and Linda Smith were living in separate residences in St. Joseph County, Indiana, at the time, according to the IARDC complaint. Fronse Wayne Smith reportedly phoned his wife and asked if she wanted any food from McDonald's.
“Ms. Smith declined” and Fronse Wayne Smith “became agitated and began arguing over the telephone with Ms. Smith,” the complaint said.
Fronse Wayne Smith told Linda Smith “she was a bad wife and expressed anger over the fact they were separated,” according to the the complaint, and he went on to say “he was going to split her chest open with an ax.”
He “told Ms. Smith he was looking for an ax, and then stated that he was coming to her home,” the complaint said. “Ms. Smith fled her home, drove to the Mishawaka Police Department, and reported (her husband’s) conduct to police officers.”
The cops reportedly headed over to Linda Smith’s place and found Fronse Wayne Smith inside. There was an ax in his car, the complaint said.
Fronse Wayne Smith was sentenced to a year of probation for the intimidation conviction.
