Make Chicago Home of the Best Bathroom in America

Two Chicago bathrooms have made the list for top 10 in America. Help make one of them No. 1.

CHICAGO, IL — Help make Chicago No. 1 for the place to go No. 1 and No. 2.

Not one but two Chicago bathrooms have made the list for the top 10 in America. Now you can vote to make either the facilities at Leña Brava or Swift & Sons steakhouse the greatest in the country.

The contest is sponsored by Cintas, a corporation that “provides highly specialized services to businesses of all types throughout North America,” including entrance mats, promotional products and restroom supplies.

You can vote here, but before you do, take a look at what they’re saying about Leña Brava and Swift and Sons.

As far as Leña Brava, contest organizers say, “This new Rick Bayless restaurant opened on May 5, 2016 and features restrooms with colorful agave wallpaper, which makes it feel like you are standing in a field in Mexico, instead of in Chicago's West Loop. This modern restroom also features stylish floating sinks and sleek hand dryers.”

And for Swift & Sons, they rave, “The AvroKO-designed restaurant Swift & Sons takes its inspiration from turn-of-the-century boys' clubs as well as a vintage trading floor, and that goes for the bathroom as well. Retro design and shiny brass stall doors offset the marble sinks and tiled floors and walls. It also features vintage light fixtures throughout.”

That sounds very nice.

Other restrooms that made the cut along with Leña Brava are the ones in the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport, the Safe House restaurant and bar in Milwaukee and Coca-Cola Park in Allentown, Pennsylvania. But don’t vote for them. Vote for Leña Brava or Swift & Sons.
