Man Hanged To Death In O'Hare Airport Restroom
The unidentified victim was found early Friday in an airport bathroom, and his death has been ruled a suicide.
CHICAGO, IL — Authorities found an unidentified man dead Friday after he hanged himself in an O'Hare International Airport bathroom, the Chicago Sun-Times reports. According to Chicago police, the man was discovered before 3 a.m. Friday, July 14, in a restroom in Concourse C of the airport, the report added.
The Cook County medical examiner's office ruled the death a suicide following an autopsy Saturday, the report stated. The victim hasn't been identified, and a death investigation is being conducted by Area North detectives, the report added. In June of 2010, an Asian woman was found hanged in an O'Hare bathroom stall. The victim — a woman in her early 60s — was discovered in a restroom for individuals or families, and the door was locked from the inside.
