Man With Concealed Carry Permit Shoots At Suspects Who Robbed His Car

CHICAGO, IL — A man with a concealed carry permit shot at two alleged robbers who snatched items from his car Wednesday while he sat in downtown Chicago traffic, the Chicago Tribune reports. No one was hurt in the incident, which happened at about 3 p.m. in the first block of East Wacker Drive.
The victim was sitting in his car, which was stopped in traffic, when one of the suspects distracted him, the report stated. That's when the other suspect grabbed items from the victim's car. The man then pulled a gun and opened fire on the alleged robbers, who fled the scene, according to the report. Chicago police are investigating the incident, but no one has been taken into custody yet, the report added.
