Millennium Park Gunman Fled on Bicycle After Shooting Man in Head: Report

CHICAGO, IL — A 54-year-old man was reportedly shot in the head on the sidewalk right outside Millennium Park Saturday night after he left a wine tasting, with the gunman fleeing the scene on a bicycle.

“A woman who identified the victim as her brother said she and her brother and at least one other person had left a wine tasting and were walking to a train station when they were accosted by a group and a man began fighting with her brother on the sidewalk near Millennium Park,” the Chicago Tribune has reported.

The wounded man was in critical condition when he was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, according to the Tribune.
