Millennium Park Shooting Victim Dies at Hospital

CHICAGO — A 54-year-old man who was shot in the head on the sidewalk outside Millennium Park has died.

Peter Fabbri died at at Northwestern Memorial Hospital Sunday evening, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office. Fabbri, a Berwyn resident, had been taken to the hospital with a gunshot wound to his head.

Fabbri had reportedly just left a wine tasting when he got into an altercation with another man.

“The altercation became physical, and the other man shot Fabbri in the head, police said,” The Chicago Tribune reported.
