Person Hospitalized After Falling Into Lake Michigan: Police
Chicago police thanked the person who flagged down help after someone fell into Lake Michigan on Feb. 15.
CHICAGO, IL — The Chicago Police Department is thanking a person they said flagged down help Saturday from first responders when another person fell into the freezing Lake Michigan waters near the 600 block of N. Lake Shore Drive. According to police, a pair of Chicago Police Department SWAT officers rescued the person who fell into the lake, and the individual was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in critical condition.

A pair of CPD SWAT officers rescued an individual who had fallen into Lake Michigan near the 600 block of N Lake Shore Drive on the morning of Feb. 15. The individual was transported to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in critical condition.
