Child Found Running Across Street Identified: CPD

The boy, believed to be around 4 years old, was found wandering early Tuesday morning.

CHICAGO — Chicago police said they have identified a child found running across 55th Street at Garfield Boulevard early Tuesday morning. As of just after 11 a.m., police said the child had been returned to his family.

Police did not provide any additional details.

They said the boy, believed to be about 4 years old, was found at around 7 a.m. and speaks Spanish and limited English. Police said they believed the child's first name is Miguel or Medill.
