Portillo's Offers Heart-Shaped Chocolate Cake For Mother's Day

For a place that's known for its hot dogs, Portillo's seems pretty preoccupied with the cake the restaurant chain serves. First, the Oak Brook-based company offered its chocloate cake for 55 cents in honor of its anniversary. Then, it brought back its popular lemon cake for the summer.

Now, Portillo's has announced the return of its single-layer, heart-shaped chocolate cake as a Mother's Day treat. The cake will cost $15.99, and orders will be available for pickup between May 10-13.

Cakes also can be shipped around the country until May 31. Supplies are limited.
