An intoxicated driver crashed into six parked cars and was found passed out — but managed to hold tight to a plastic bag of crack, police said. Robert Weber’s pipe was found on the floor of his pickup truck, police said, but his crack was safe in hand. Weber was taken to the hospital and then he went to jail.

Despite several signs advising visitors not to bring weapons into the Bridgeview Courthouse, this Oak Lawn woman forgot she was wearing a loaded .38 strapped to her lower leg in an ankle holster. The gun was found when she kept setting off the metal detector.

In addition to police finding 541 grams of pot in his car, the man left a loaded 9mm gun inside a motel room after a four-hour romp with a lady friend. He was arrested when he returned for the forgotten weapon.

Burglar Brings Dog to a Break-In

It must have been bring your dog to work day for burglars recently. A man with a small black dog on a leash was caught breaking into a garage. As the homeowner fought with the burglar, the dog bit the resident and ran away, police said. But both were caught.

A panhandling bucket drummer in south suburban Bedford Park caught a police officer's attention, but the officer didn't catch him. While writing a ticket, the drummer head-butted the cop and ran away.
