Skokie, IL — Are you a skilled screen printing and heat press professional looking to share your talents in a meaningful, flexible role? The Douglas Center is hiring a Part-Time Contract Production & Training Specialist to support our newly launched print production unit—providing services for local businesses while training adults living with intellectual, developmental, and physical disabilities.

This hands-on role blends technical know-how with mentorship. You’ll guide production jobs, train staff and participants, and help us deliver high-quality, custom apparel using screen printing and heat-sealing methods.

  • Teach and oversee screen printing and heat press projects
  • Set up and maintain equipment and materials
  • Ensure safe, consistent production workflows
  • Coach participants and staff on techniques and best practices
  • Foster a positive and inclusive training environment

Who We’re Looking For:
✔ Experienced in screen printing and heat press (required)
✔ Confident leading small-group, hands-on instruction
✔ Patient, detail-oriented, and mission-driven
✔ A collaborative team player and effective communicator
