Taste Of Chicago 2019: Guide To Food, Drinks, Live Music
The Taste starts Wednesday featuring live music, food and more.

CHICAGO — Admission is free as the Taste of Chicago returns to Grant Park July 10 to 14, with live music, food and drinks from some of Chicago's most beloved eateries, food trucks and more. The first Taste of Chicago was held in a three-block area of Michigan Avenue nearly four decades ago in 1980, and the food fest moved to a larger location in Grant Park in 1981.
This year's musical acts include Meshell Ndegeocello and De La Soul.
The Taste of Chicago 2019 is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday through Friday, and 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

General admission is free, and you can avoid long lines by purchasing your food and drink tickets online. You can also purchase "Taste Oasis" tickets for prime concert viewing in a lounge setting.
Parking is available at Millennium Garages: Grant Park North Garage at 25 N. Michigan Ave., Grant Park South Garage at 325 S. Michigan Ave., and Millennium Park Garage and Millennium Lakeside Garage located at 5 S. Columbus Drive.

This year's food and drink lineup includes the Billy Goat Tavern, Lou Malnati's, the Goose Island Backyard Brewery and more local favorites, plus vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free fare. Find the full lineup here:
