Teen Shot Inside Car On West Side: Chicago Police
The Chicago Police Department said a male suspect came up and fired shots into the car.

CHICAGO, IL — Chicago Police Department said a 14-year-old male was shot around 12:30 a.m. Thursday while sitting in a vehicle in the 2500 block of S. Hamlin. Police said the teen was in the car with an adult female when a male suspect came up to the car and started firing gunshots. According to police, the victim suffered a gunshot wound to the right shoulder and was taken to Stroger Hospital in stable condition.
Police said as of Thursday morning no one is in custody and Area Central officials are investigating.
