Vehicle Crashes Into Bulls Practice Center; At Least 1 Person Hurt

The accident closed down Madison Street for about a half hour Friday morning. Police are investigating.

CHICAGO, IL — At least one person was hurt after a vehicle slammed into the Chicago Bulls practice facility Friday near the United Center, according to NBC 5 Chicago. The vehicle plowed through landscaping and rested behind a tree after hitting the bulding.

The accident was reported at around 6 a.m. Friday, Aug. 18, at the Bulls Advocate Training Center near Madison and Wood streets, the report stated. Madison Street was shut down until just before 6:30 a.m. while crews worked to clean up the area, the report added.

The injured person was taken to Stroger Hospital, and the individual's condition was not known, the report stated. It's not known if the person was the driver or someone at the facility.
