Wind Forces Ground Stop At O'Hare: FAA
Wind Wednesday night was forecast to be blowing west northwest at 10-15 mph with gusts of up to 25 mph.
CHICAGO — O'Hare International Airport was experiencing a ground stop Wednesday night due to wind, according to the Federal Aviation Administration.
The stop, which grounded departures to the airport, started at 6:45 p.m. and was scheduled to last an hour, with a 30-60 percent probability of extension, the administration reported.
