Area Superintendents Partner with UNCF to Raise Scholarship Funds
Superintendents' Commission Scholarship Gala Largest Event of Its Kind in the Country

The Superintendents’ Commission, a group of 40 superintendents from Cook County and the collar counties, will be partnering with the United Negro College Fund for the third year to raise scholarship funds for local students. The Investing in Our Future Scholarship Gala will be held at the Tinley Park Convention Center on February 21. In December, representatives of the ARCON Associates architectural firm and Safeway Transportation Services presented donations for the gala. The gala has become the largest event of its kind in the country, according to the UNCF.
