District 206 Education Foundation is proud to announce it will hold a 3-day epic celebration on September 19th, 20th and 21st, 2025 to commemorate 125 years of Bloom's educational excellence. This special event will be filled with fun activities, delicious food, reminiscing, and opportunities to support Bloom students.
Bloom was founded in 1900 and along with its National Landmark building; it is filled with a legendary history of scholars, athletes and heroes. Imagine taking a walk down memory lane whether it is from your times at Bloom or stories and achievements of people before and after you that have had an impact on the world and have done Bloom proud. The activities planned may have you sitting in the bleachers at Sarff Field or finding your old locker during a tour of the school. There will be time to mingle with present and past Bloom teachers and staff and maybe reconnect with some old Bloom classmates. The activities are listed below, but unfortunately Friday's Alumni Gathering and Saturday's Gala are already SOLD out. You can email foundation@sd206.org to be put on the waiting list.
The activities begin on Friday, September 19th at the Alumni Gathering at Rudy’s at Balagio Restaurant from 6 to 9 at 17501 Dixie Highway, Homewood, IL. (Sold out)
