Bloom High School Wins 3rd Place in Trunk or Treat Event
The event was held Oct. 26, and saw a huge turnout.

CHICAGO HEIGHTS, IL — The Bloom High School’s School Leadership Team Family Outreach Committee made a memorable impact at the annual Trunk or Treat event held on Saturday, October 26, under the leadership of Wanda Rodgers, the city's current 3rd Ward Alderman and Program Director for the Chicago Heights Park District. The community was out in full force, and Bloom High School’s presence brought smiles, candy, and a renewed connection with local families and residents.
The event was a huge success, with many cars carrying trick or treaters receiving treats thanks to all the vendors who handed out candy throughout the evening. Even though the event officially began at 4 p.m., excitement was already building by 2 p.m., as cars began lining up early for the festivities. The School Leader Team’s Family Outreach Committee won 3rd place in the Best Decorated Vehicle contest at the event.

Monica Shoemake, a Family Outreach Committee member at Bloom High School, shared her excitement.
