September is Library Card Sign Up Month
Crete Public Library invites everyone to discover the incredible resources and opportunities available by signing up for a library card. As an extra incentive for Library Card Sign Up Month, Crete Public Library is sponsoring a drawing for two Amazon Fire tablets! During September, everyone who receives a card for the first time or renews an expired card will be entered in the drawing.
Today’s libraries are vibrant community centers offering much more than just books. A guitar, an ice cream maker, a canning kit, and cake pans are all available to check out from the Crete Public Library’s Beyond Books collection. There’s truly something for everyone at Crete Public Library—programs for all ages, job search assistance, homework help, book clubs, author talks, story times, a community garden, and the Crete Creative Art Gallery.
