A semi-tractor trailer left Illinois 394 Wednesday afternoon after striking a car and rolled into a vacant house in Sauk Village near Sauk Trail. The woman driving the car was killed, reports NBC Chicago. No other injuries were reported.
All lanes of Illinois 394 in both directions were shut down. The accident took place around 3 p.m. and emergency crews remained on the scene past 6 p.m.

Police said the 28-year-old woman driving the car attempted to change lanes while driving northbound and clipped the front of the semi which already was in the right-hand lane. Both vehicles went into the grass beside the road and the truck drove into the house.
The 68-year-old truck driver declined medical attention.
