SONOMA COUNTY, CA — A 2.7 magnitude earthquake was recorded Saturday morning near Kenwood in Sonoma County, according to a preliminary report from the United States Geological Survey.

The quake hit the area around 9:30 a.m. The earthquake was centered about 4 miles west of Kenwood and happened at a depth of about one mile.
