50 Chickens Die In Barn Fire in McHenry County
The barn fire happened early Saturday in the 4700 block of Lindwall Road near Harvard.

MCHENRY COUNTY, IL — More than 50 chickens have died in a fire at a barn in McHenry County, authorities said Saturday.
The Harvard Fire Protection District was called to the blaze in the 4700 block of Lindwall Road at about 5:30 a.m. Saturday and found the barn fully engulfed flames, according to the fire protection district.
The fire had spread to two vehicles and to the house, authorities said. Fire crews brought the blaze under control within 25 minutes, according to the news release. Fire officials believe between 50 and 60 chickens inside the barn died in the blaze.
