More Early Voting Locations Open Monday

Voters can make their picks for city councils, school boards and library boards. Election Day is April 4.

CRYSTAL LAKE AND CARY, IL — Voters in McHenry County will be heading to the polls in coming weeks to make their picks for city council, school board and library board races.

This year's consolidated election will be held on April 4, and early voting is currently underway in counties across Illinois. In McHenry County, ten additional early voting sites will open Monday, March 20.

Starting on March 20 and continuing through April 3, voters can cast their ballot at the following local early voting locations:

ALGONQUIN TOWNSHIP ROAD DISTRICT, 3702 US Highway 14, Crystal Lake, in building 6B. A dropbox is available inside the voting room.

LAKE IN THE HILLS VILLAGE HALL, 600 Harvest Gate, Lake in the Hills. Voters should go through the main entrance, and a dropbox is available inside voting room.

NUNDA TOWNSHIP OFFICE, 3510 Bay Road, Crystal Lake. Voters should enter through the downstairs entrance.

CARY AREA LIBRARY, 1606 Three Oaks Road, Cary. Voters should enter through the main entrance.

ALGONQUIN LIBRARY, 2600 Harnish Drive, Algonquin. Voters should enter through the main entrance.

HUNTLEY PARK DISTRICT, 12015 Mill St., Huntley. Voters should enter through the south entrance.

Hours that the early voting locations are open can be found here. Early voting is also available between 9 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. from Monday through Friday at the county administration building, 667 Ware Road, Woodstock.
